What data destruction options are available?

Greentec utilizes two types of certified data destruction options. 1) utilizing licensed software to erase data from hard drives and electronic devices and 2) physical destruction of media and electronic devices by mechanical shredder.

Greentec technicians are background checked and certified to ensure that your data is always secure and will never end up in the wrong hands. Utilizing licensed software to erase all traces of data from media, hard drives, SSDs and electronic devices, you can be confident that your data is securely wiped clean and sanitized. Additionally, you can request to have your media and data-bearing devices securely destroyed by our industrial shredder.

Here’s how each service works:

  1. Certified Data Erasure- To ensure your data is securely erased, while preserving the integrity of your devices and allowing them to be repurposed and reused. Certified Data Erasure services can be performed on any of the following devices:
      1. Desktop Computers and Servers
      2. Hard drives and SSD
      3. Cell phones, Tablets and Laptops

The goal of this service is to securely erase all data on an applicable device, allowing you to  resell or reuse this device and maximize their residual value .

2. Certified Shred- In cases where reuse, re purpose or resale is not permitted, our industrial shredders ensure the electronic device and media are physically destroyed into small fractions . This process can be completed on the following devices:
      1. Media
      2. Hard drives
      3. Electronics
