Greentec's secure chain of custody service allows you to track the movement of IT assets and sensitive materials with the highest level of security and documentation.
Greentec chain of custody service documents details such as the removal, custody, transfer, testing, data destruction, classification, and disposal of IT assets. Greentec offers a chain-of-custody service to clients seeking the utmost security and traceability for handling sensitive items like IT assets and data-bearing devices.
This service is specifically tailored to each individual customer's ITAD project, meticulously documenting and tracing the journey of items from pickup to their final destination at every stage along the way.
All chain of custody shipments are expedited and adhere to security protocols. This involves thorough tracking of material movement and control from the point of pickup to its arrival at our secure facility.
This ensures that the media is protected from any unauthorized changes, tampering, or loss of important materials.
Each shipment, whether it includes IT assets or e-waste items for recycling services, must be accompanied by a manifest or inventory list provided by the customer. Additionally, a Bill of Lading with detailed shipment information is required. The driver is responsible for verifying and signing the Bill of Lading, which includes essential details such as the description of materials, number of skids/containers, weights, pick-up location, time, and destination.
Upon arrival at Greentec, each container or skid undergoes a thorough verification process based on the customer manifest and Bill of Lading information. Any discrepancies or non-conformities identified are documented on the Bill of Lading and promptly reported to the logistics supervisor. The shipment details are then uploaded into our order management system, and the order is carefully staged in a secure zone to prepare for secure destruction services.
Furthermore, all items in outgoing shipments are carefully examined, weighed, and recorded on both Greentec's packing lists and Bill of Lading documents. Greentec's advanced inventory system is utilized to monitor all received materials, ensuring accurate tracking at each step of the process to meet mass balance audits and reporting requirements. This entire process is documented within the Greentec Management System and subject to thorough audits for quality assurance and adherence to regulatory standards.
